I think, based on looking at the Attorney General's page regarding California's Self-Exclusion program, that it would depend on whether the Casino is a Tribal Casino or not. If it's not a Tribal Casino, then my understanding is they have to give you back the money that you lost, but that there isn't any sort liability beyond that. Effective July 24, 2019 the West Virginia Lottery Security Table Games offices located within each WV Casino may process Statewide Self-Exclusion requests made in person at the casino. With a total of 5 land-based casinos in West Virginia (see table below), the new gambling regulation allows for each land-based casino to apply for a single online casino license, which permits them to have up to 3 casinos skins. This means there will be a total of 15 online casinos in the state of West Virginia. Any individual who is prohibited from wagering pursuant to: (1) any self-exclusion list or a casino or Commission exclusion list; (2) any employee of the Commission; or (3) a licensed sports pool operator or any of its employees placing a wager with that sports pool operator in violation of W.Va. Code ยงยง29-22D-1 et seq.
